Celebrating Every Story
At MTLA, our Non-Fiction Book Club opens the door to a wider world. We explore the well-known figures of history, science, and geography, but we also shine a light on the many who were overlooked because of race, ethnicity, gender, or circumstance. Every story deserves room to breathe, and every learner deserves the chance to meet the people who helped shape our world.
We take the beloved US series Who-Was, and we expand on new figures, places, and events that deserve recognition, helping students see history as a living map instead of a narrow repeated timeline just for examinations. While rooted in American materials, we use this as a springboard to explore British English differences and broaden key ideas in exciting, meaningful ways. This is a great transitional course for any student moving from US to UK curriculum.
This is learning built to expand minds far beyond the page,

At MTLA, our integrated Fiction programme blends classic tales, modern favourites, and global stories into a vivid reading journey.
